Find a Pharmacist
Walgreens commissioned a survey looking into the reasons customers choose a pharmacist/pharmacy. The survey indicated:
About 70% of respondents said they valued clinical training and areas of expertise just as much as the location.
More than 30% of respondents wanted the ability to search for a pharmacist based on their expertise.
Of those who know their pharmacist by name, nearly 75% consider their pharmacist a critical or important member of their health team.
We created the “Find a Pharmacist” tool to connect customers with specific needs and health conditions to the pharmacists who could best meet their requirements.
My Work:
I wrote all the text and worked with a UX designer, a product designer, a product manager, and a web developer on this project.
Outcome:
The tool captured a Winter/Spring 2013 Web Health Award silver medal in the “Directory/Ratings/Guides” category.

Appointment Scheduler
We wanted to encourage Walgreens customers to book appointments online so they could quickly schedule a vaccination or complete a health test.
Here is the booking process with the text I wrote to help improve the experience.
I worked with a UX designer, a product designer, a product manager, and a web developer on this project.

Mary Poppins couldn’t have imagined all the flavoring options offered at Walgreens.
